Dr. Mohsen Ansari, Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Engineering, Sharif University of Technology, has been appointed as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the international journal IEEE Embedded Systems Letters.

According to the Department of Computer Engineering at Sharif University of Technology, IEEE Embedded Systems Letters is one of the specialized journals of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in the field of embedded systems and related technologies. The journal publishes innovative research in areas including embedded hardware and software design, real-time systems, the Internet of Things (IoT), cyber-physical systems, low-power design, and other topics related to embedded computing systems.
Under this appointment, Dr. Ansari will work alongside the Editor-in-Chief in directing and overseeing the journal’s scientific and editorial processes, coordinating the activities of the editorial board, and contributing to the journal’s scientific development. His responsibilities will particularly focus on the area of Sensors and Signal Processing, which encompasses topics related to sensor systems and signal processing algorithms for embedded systems.
Dr. Ansari has previously served as an Associate Editor of IEEE Embedded Systems Letters. In recent years, he has also participated in the review and editorial processes of several international IEEE and ACM journals in the areas of embedded systems, the Internet of Things, real-time systems, and cyber-physical systems.
His research interests include artificial intelligence in edge computing and the Internet of Things, embedded machine learning, low-power embedded system design, real-time systems, and cyber-physical systems. He also leads the Cyber-Physical Systems Laboratory at the Department of Computer Engineering, Sharif University of Technology.
